How GO FORTH supported the development of 50+ mid-career project professionals at Bilfinger UK

In 2024 Helen Utley, our Engineering and Business Development Manager, was looking to expand her knowledge around project management, so that when talking to clients she would appreciate their requirements from a delivery perspective. After seeing the ECITB Introduction to Project Controls course provided by GO FORTH on the ECITB website, Helen contacted me, and I arranged for her to attend.
Afterwards, Helen recommended the course for anyone involved in selling projects and for discipline engineers who would benefit from upskilling, reskilling or refresher training to give them a broader understanding of project controls. I contacted line managers about this and the other ECITB courses provided by GO FORTH, including Risk Management, Estimating and Document Management.
To date, over 50 of our mid-career project and engineering managers, discipline engineers, site managers and superintendents have joined courses from GO FORTH, with some attending multiple courses. This has been very successful with tremendous feedback from our staff.
