Over the course my  50-year career as a project controls leader in the oil and gas, nuclear, power, process, infrastructure, steel, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries, I have become an internationally acknowledged authority, formally recognised in 2023 with a global award for my lifetime contribution to project controls. I have consistently taken the lead as an early adopter and implementor of cutting-edge project control techniques. Since 2021, as GO FORTH, I help give people the skills to manage and control projects well and have delivered ECITB and other Project Controls short courses to 50+ ECITB in scope companies and 400+ delegates in the UK Engineering and Construction industry.

As  past chair of the BCECA Project Control Managers Committee and a fellow of APM and ACostE,  where I served two terms as Vice-President, my industry leadership, uniting groups and individuals, has reaped benefits for the project controls community such as higher professional recognition and apprenticeship programmes.

In 2012 I received the ECITB award for Outstanding Contribution in the Leadership of Training and development. I am considered an exceptional thought leader, known for sharing my knowledge and experience,  speaking at prestigious international conferences.
